Lots of good news about Born Under A Lucky Moon!
You can read the first chapter of the book on Scribd.  I love that service, it works flawlessly and has a great audience. Of course you can also read it (and more) here as before but the Scribd interface makes it super nice to read it there. I also did a fun interview with Linda Weaver Clarke which you can read on her eponymous blog. Finally, the book got a nice shoutout as a great summer beach...

Prologue
All roads in my hometown lead to water. I used to think they were all dead ends. It is a four-block-wide bit of land with one main road, Ruddiman, running its length.
